‘Be Water, My Friend’ Tai Chi video shoot

Last weekend I had the absolute good fortune to wake up at 4:30am to meet Director/Producer and film teacher Gary of UK Film School, his dog Fifi (renamed Filthy by the end of the shoot) and camera man Jason at the Peace Pagoda in Milton Keynes. We convened at 6am and waited 45 minutes for the rain to stop. As a complete film nube, I couldn’t understand why it would be good to film just after rain. Now I understand.

Please take a look:

‘Be Water, My Friend’, Traditional Yang Style Tai Chi Chuan

My feelings are that they have done an absolutely amazing job. I am very grateful for this wonderful showcasing of the art of Yang Style Tai Chi. It feels so amazing to do, Tai Chi really does function and harmonise mind, body and spirit. I hope you agee with me that this video captures those feelings. I love Gary’s title for the short piece, ‘Be Water, My Friend’.
